What Sort Of Jewellery Is David Beckham Buying For Victoria This Year?

What does a man who has everything buy for the woman who has everything? This is a woman who even has her own costume jewellery line, so it must be something special. This couple really loves engagement rings!

This year is even more special as 2019 is Victoria and David Beckham’s 20th wedding anniversary. Those who follow Hello! Magazine probably know this little gem: over the years they have been married, David Beckham has given Victoria 14 engagement rings. For us, mere mortals, just one engagement ring per marriage is enough, but when you have a fortune counted in the billions of pounds you must find something to spend money on, right?

How To Top 14 Engagement Rings?

Apparently, Victoria actually wears these engagement rings, keeping them on some kind of rotation, they don’t all live in a safety deposit box in the vault of some rich people bank. But really, what might David do to mark their 20 years of marriage? What kind of ring might be good enough?

There's been quite a progression over the years. Victoria's first engagement ring was a relatively simple affair costing, at the time, about £65,000. These days, her diamond collection has been estimated to be worth £9 million. The most expensive diamond engagement ring in her collection is reputed to be the fourth which David gave her in 2005. This ring with a huge white diamond is estimated to be worth some £2 million. The latest, is a much more modest affair, a yellow diamond with a platinum band, valued at about £120,000. Perhaps David won’t have to try too hard this year?

Does David Beckham Still Buy His Wife’s Jewellery?

I was thinking about this, and I can’t quite imagine David Beckham buying jewellery for his wife, not these days. This is a woman who has her own costume jewellery line and whose image is so tightly controlled that anything that did not perfectly fit the meme of the moment would be rejected. Perhaps they collaborate on major purchases but with their wealth, spending a couple of million on a diamond ring is about the same as most of us buying our wives a £100 pair of earrings. The money is, to them, negligible. It must give a bizarre perspective on life to be so rich!

Foresee The Future In Gems And Precious Metal

Even if jewellery purchases are, these days, very much image-driven, perhaps we can take a guess at what Victoria is likely to be seen wearing during this year, maybe David will slip in an off-script surprise or two as well? The last new addition to her collection of engagement rings appeared in July 2018 and was a smaller, more discreet affair, the yellow diamond and platinum ring mentioned above. Other sightings seem to indicate that Victoria Beckham is preferring less bling, less gaudy jewellery. Last year, Victoria was seen wearing a slightly unusual, dainty, thumb ring – an idea inspired by the Duchess of Sussex perhaps? She has also been seen wearing a lovely, understated bracelet from Tiffany’s T True Collection. Maybe this is a clue to what might adorn her ring finger later this year?

When you are as rich as the Beckhams there’s pretty much nothing that you can’t afford, so everything becomes a matter of taste. Perhaps we will see her recent low profile, bling lite, jewellery acquisitions continue with maybe a nod to her 2015 moonstone and platinum ring? The cost is almost irrelevant but was around £10,000. Perhaps David will present his lovely wife with a carefully designed engagement ring made with another beautiful precious stone that carries personal symbolism. The 2015 moonstone engagement ring carried heavy symbolism and meaning derived from the feminine energy associated with the stone. Moonstone is held by many to help its wearers regain power and inner balance. This ring would have been designed and made with a clear understanding of its meaning and every time Victoria wears the piece, she is sending herself, and the viewing world, a message.

Perhaps after the troubles that were reputedly happening early last year, David might choose another piece that tells a story and sends a message to his lovely wife and the rest of the world as we look on in paparazzi photos and read articles about their lives.

If that were to happen then, maybe, David might choose another green emerald, the stone of successful love, the stone that brings both loyalty and domestic bliss to relationships. After all, David and Victoria have managed 20 years of marriage, are raising a successful family and between them run successful businesses bringing wealth and security to the family. In terms of symbols, what could be better than a beautiful, deep green emerald set in a subtle but modern platinum setting?Engagement Rings

Although most of us do not have the same wealth as David and Victoria Beckham, we probably all share similar dreams and desires. Most of those of us who are not married probably want a relationship with the love of our life that can last for a lifetime. Most women will only ever have one engagement ring to wear, but that ring will be treasured all the more for its uniqueness. Whether you are engaged, or not, there’s no reason to not play Fantasy Ring Designer on the All Diamond online ring designer. You can design your perfect piece of jewellery, and maybe the fantasy will become a reality.
