Sold gold (24K) refers to any item that is made of pure gold, as long as the inside of the piece is not hollow. The proportion of gold in the pieces of jewellery is still determined by the karat mark. 24K gold is too soft for use in rings for that reason, all of our bridal sets use 18K gold which gives the best blend of durability and purity.
